A century after the peak of Kurt Weill's work in Berlin during the 1920s, im frauenland Ensemble brings to light contemporary themes from the first half of the 20th century that still resonate today. Berlin serves as the backround for all the action.

In these current times of change, these three artists will give life to a role of fictional women from the past who, through Kurt Weill's language, will guide the audience on a journey through time, offering a reflective perspective on modernity.

What will prevail? Decadence or Hope? Light or Darkness?
